I am an author, academic and storyteller working in the fields of eco-narrative and intersectional discourse. My academic and creative works explore topics such as the mind/body dichotomy and the moral imperative in a post-religious, post-industrial world. My 2013 novel, The Tale of Raw Head and Bloody Bones, which deals with themes of madness, cruelty and grief, was highly critically acclaimed and won the Author's Club Best First Novel award.
